G48 and Sig 365XL 'almost' the same size..identical width(You mentioned the G17 being 'fat ...It's a 0.6" length difference which you probably won't notice (in the context of holsters). I notice a difference, so for around the house working from home I am usually wearing my 365X. At the range I will just wear my 365XL holster for drills so I don't have to keep switching holsters.The Sig P365 X is a Hybrid Between the P365 and the P365 XL. The XL is slightly larger, with a half-inch longer barrel, compared to the original P365. The added length doesn't hurt concealability at all. However, it does help in accuracy a bit with an increased sight radius. But maybe even more importantly, it seems to balance the gun out a little more.
The recoil impulse is smoother than the G48, and my groups were just as tight. The trigger broke-in and is better than the factory G48 trigger. I shot the standard 365 and 365 XL on the same outing.
