Baffle strikes

None of the linked posts about AAC killing cans looks like baffle strikes to me, and i would think if it were baffle strikes causing that sort of wear it would significantly affect accuracy. Looks more like some seriously bad erosion, could the powder somehow be the culprit?.

Aug 14, 2019 · The pictures below show the damage. The first baffle is supposed to be round, not slotted. The slot is where the projectile struck. Notice the end cap is completely undamaged. The projectile never made it out of the suppressor. As I picked it up and shook it, bullet fragments came back out. While fish near the surface may die when lightning strikes the water, the fish that are deep underwater are likely to survive. Lightning strikes the surface of the water, but its electricity is neutralized deeper down.

Your mount would have to come really far off and be really loose to misalign it so bad to where it would strike would a good round.
