I bought a King Cobra in 1989 or 90 and had to bring it back for warranty repair after shooting 12 rounds through it. Dumped it shortly afterwards and bought a Ruger GP100. I bought two new Pythons last month. I really like them both. The Ruger happens to be one with a pretty good trigger, my other 101 in 357 has a horrid trigger. The 327 has a trigger that feels lighter than the KC and the contour of the trigger is more comfortable. I can shoot 32 acp,short,long,H&R mag and .327 fed mag. It is identical in size but feels slightly heavier than the KC.That being said, the new 3" King Cobra info lists it as 5.5 oz lighter (28 oz) then my S&W 2.75" (33.5 oz), and 9.2 oz lighter than the new 19 (37.2 oz) if that matters to you.
