He comes to me asking if I can swap the engine for him for something more powerful. I have swapped many stock engines (simple R&R) into cars/trucks before. I have also done many 240sx sr20det engine/transmission swaps. The new Ranger's extra width comes with wider-spaced frame rails that make room for V-6 engines. The F-150's EcoBoost twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 will be optional, and here it'll make 315 horsepower ...Newer generation single port exhaust k24 (z) engines are currently not compatible with our swap kits. Here is a list of the ones that are. *K24a4 - These engines are found in the 03-05 Honda Accord and 03-06 Honda Element. These will be the cheapest of the bunch with a price range of $300-$1000.
