My independent mechanic said there was a Tech Bulletin that said change the fluid. $64 later and a fluid change and the problem was solved. George.I have a similar issue on a 2012 Denali FWD w/ 113k miles (bought it new, and have done all the recommend maintenance). It will sporadically shudder when accelerating uphill or exiting a roundabout or curve. Dealer said it was the engine mounts. Which made sense, maybe the engine was unbalanced during tight turns and uphill.

Check for any obstructions/dirt in any of these areas and while in there clean the MAF too with MAF cleaner. Check all vacuum hoses for pin hole leaks too. Just bought a 2012 GMC Acadia with117k on it. Mint condition cosmetically and seemed to drive fine until yesterday. It seems when I'm doing about 40 mph or 60 mph the RPMs drop between 1700 and 2100 and I get the shudder/buck.
