The P17 was great bang for the buck. 2020 was a nightmare with gun prices jumping and availability declining. By 2021 ammo shortages caused prices to jump even higher. I too waas waiting for the Kel-tec P17, but was told twice that these were at distributors when that was not true. There are a few P17s at online gun auctions, but getting spare mags is not going to happen as no one seems to have them. So it seems that the TX22 is what I am going to go for.
