It depends on the lost sector and how fast you can consistently clear that particular lost sector on each difficulty. The Master drop rate is higher, but it is not 2x as high. So, if you are clearing Legend in 5m and Master in 10m, running twice the number of Legend in the same time it would take to do Master will probably get you more drops. The last three clears only gave glimmer, whole others have cores and blue berry gear. He even got a flawless clear. The Titan was brand new, started it a few hours ...It also SUCKED when my friends would want to play and I'd say "sorry need to farm this lost sector" and couldn't play with my friends. This is an online social game. Content shouldn't be locked to solo like this. Maybe they need to do both. On the map for either europa or the cosmodrome there will be 1-2 extra icons highlighted. If you go to them (actually travel to them) and select the flag outside the lost sector it it'll put you into a version of the lost sector on either master or legend difficulty.
