Hi on my 2008 Jeep Patriot the engine light is on and I have a P2017 code. I heard there's a TSB on it and possible computer update. Of course the dealer just says make a appointment and bring it in.My mechanic says this but he's not a Jeep expert...On jeep check with dealer,if no recall or anything,start with (intake manifold flow control value)Could need whole intake if value is stuck intake ...Shop called about an hour before they closed and said after installed the new OEM intake manifold that its still throwing code p2004. I have been working on the 08 patriot. Fixed some grounding trouble with it. So i was trying to figure the p2017 stuck intake runner. I could not find the trouble with the wiring and the motor was ok.
