How do you get storm crystals in NMS? It can be harvested on extreme weather planets during storms. Look for planets with activated minerals and search during a storm. Not all extreme weather or activated mineral planets have storm crystals. When analyzing a Crystal Fragment there is a small chance of getting a single Storm Crystal.Alternately (or in addition) summon an exocraft to your location. That will provide protection during the storm and also allow you to move around quickly and collect the storm crystals faster. I *think* that any of the hot/frozen/radioactive worlds with extreme conditions will activate the storm crystals during storms.
